We are looking for individuals who are interested in growing within our team as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist.  As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist you will be responsible for all shop detailing while working alongside and supporting the Project Managers and Estimators.  The Mechanical Engineering Technologist will provide the shop with drawings, cut sheets and provide the inputs for our PythonX beam line and plasma table. You will also be responsible for assisting with some design work as required. You have the knowledge and ability to read drawings, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to problem-solve.

To be seriously considered for this position you will need the following:

• 5 years plus of current working experience in a detailing role.
• 5 years of experience detailing mechanical and structural metals.
• Proficiency in Inventor & AutoCAD software is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft 360
• High level of knowledge of industry standard detailing practices
• MET Diploma from an accredited institution or equivalent
• Canadian Citizen or Permanent Residence.
